Breastfeeding Support Group
Come and join us the first Monday of every month from 3:00 to 4:00 at the Christian County Health Department for a Breastfeeding Support Group. We are inviting all breastfeeding moms, and prenatal moms to get together for a time of food, fun and support.

Program Overview
Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is a special supplemental nutrition program with a strong emphasis on education about nutrition-based health. The program provides nutrition education, screening, risk assessment and counseling to pregnant women, new mothers, infants and children up to five years old.
WIC also provides checks to purchase nutritious supplemental foods like milk, eggs, cheese, juice, cereal, peanut butter, and/or dry beans or peas at several local businesses. New mothers who are breastfeeding may receive an enhanced food package.
Eligibility
WIC is open to individuals who meet income guidelines and are determined by health professionals to be at nutritional risk. The unborn child is counted as a member of the family when eligibility is determined.
