In collaboration with the Missouri Department of Conservation, recreational water testing is done weekly from Memorial Day through Labor Day. This is also done monthly in the Fall, Winter, and Spring. We test nine public access points on waterways county-wide. If a waterway tests higher than the allowable limit, we will post for no whole body contact, which means people should not immerse themselves in the water.
